Edith Cavell Room and Cavell Nurses

We had an excellent event with Cavell Nurses’ Trust last night, launching their Edith Cavell centenary year and our Edith Cavell Room, which is in what used to be the Cavell Home for District Nurses. The Maids Head acquired the building in 1956 and integrated it into the hotel.
