The Hotel is continuing to remain open to support all those guests who are permitted to travel for essential purposes. For the comfort of our guests, we will be providing room service of both full English breakfast all delivered safely to the bedroom door.

Following Government guidelines we are delighted that as from Monday, April 12th, our pretty courtyard is open for alfresco dining.  From this date we can also offer a night of escape in one of our self-contained suites.  To find out more click on the link, these can only be booked direct with the hotel. Providing the roadmap stays on track, we will be fully open from Monday, May 17th and our fantastic team cannot wait to welcome you back.

Great Norfolk Bake Off – Maids Head Hotel

Do you love ‘The Great British Bake Off’? With the final being only a week away we are celebrating with our own ‘Great Norfolk Bake Off’ on Tuesday 25 October.

Three team members from the Maids Head Hotel and three City College hotel school students will compete side by side in a bake off. All will be cooking a ‘Norfolk Apple Cake’ in celebration of Apple Day (which takes place on 21 October).

Charlie Hodson, Champion of Norfolk Food and Drink will be hosting the event. The winner will win an opportunity to create and cook alongside EDP Norfolk Food & Drink Awards chef of the year, Marcin ‘Magic’ Pomierny, our head chef, to create a dish to go on our November restaurant menu.
