Maids Head Hotel Spring Babies’ Celebration
Maids Head staff and babies gathering for the celebration afternoon tea
Six hotel staff have had babies in recent months. The new arrivals, parents and siblings were invited to the hotel for a special afternoon tea celebration on 12 April, hosted by General Manager, Christine Malcolm.
Christine Malcolm explained: “In my 10 years at the Maids Head, we have never had such a large group of new arrivals. So we decided to bring them all together and mark the births with a celebration afternoon tea. To add to the togetherness, Rose our Events Co-ordinator gave birth to her daughter, Mia, on the same day that Malgorzata, wife of Head Chef ‘Magic’, gave birth to her son, Miesko.”
The roll call of parents and babies is as follows:
Rose Barnes Events Co-ordinator and Ivan Cuturello Restaurant Supervisor with their daughter Mia (10 weeks)
Liam Kelly, Reception Supervisor with his wife Laura and daughters Isla (3 months) and Isobel (4 years).
Sam Masters, Food Services Manager with his wife Charlotte and daughters Matilda (7 months) and Florence (2 years).
Marcin ‘Magic’ Pomierny, Head Chef and his wife Malgorzata Aksamit-Pomierna with their sons Miesko (10 weeks) and Tymon (2½ years).
Linzi Rawson, Sales Manager, with son Zachary Bligh (5½ months) and daughter Iris-Sofia (nearly 5 years).
Night Porter, Andrejus Svakovas was unable to join the celebration with his baby son, Alex.
