We are proud to be in the heart of Norwich, a city we are very passionate about supporting. There is a wealth of experiences available for our guests to enjoy and below are some of the partnerships we have forged to date as well as though available from the Hotel.

Uniquely designed Bedrooms and Suites
All our rooms have unique features adding to the experience of our guests. Whether choosing the charm of a Classic double or indulging in one of our uniquely designed Junior Suites or Suites, every option promises a distinctly memorable experience.
Complimentary Bobbin Bike Hire
Maids Head Bobbin Bikes
Plan your own adventure by borrowing one the Hotel’s six Bobbin Bikes. A child’s bike is also available. Helmets, first aid kit, padlock and high viz vest is all included. We have maps of the City and reception are happy to advise.
Spins of Norwich in one of the Maids Head’s Vintage Bentleys
The Maids Head has three vintage Bentleys. Hotel guests can experience a complimentary spin around the City with our Chauffeur. The 1963 S3 Bentley and 1950, Mark 6 convertible can seat up to four guests. They are also available for wedding couples to take them to their venue or for some iconic photo opportunities.

Fine Dining Experience in the WinePress Restaurant
Book to dine in our WinePress Restaurant and enjoy either our Rosette Menu or 5 course Tasting Menu. There is also the option of a Wine Flight with wines expertly chosen to complement the flavours of the dishes.
Maids Head Bar Beer Flight of three locally brewed ales
Enjoy a drink in the historic Bar. You will find locally brewed beers, including the hotel’s very own 1287 lager, locally distilled spirits as well as an array of wines from local vineyards, all available to enhance your Norfolk experience.
NORWICH EXPERIENCE PROVIDERS
Paul Dickson Walking Tours
Local tour guide, Paul Dickson, provides walking tours of both the City as well as the Broads. His popular Shardlake Tour includes the Maids Head, a chance to learn about it’s 800 year old history.
Cheryl Cade, Beer & Cheese Educator, Beer Sommelier (IBD)
Cheryl offers adventures in taste. Tours include visiting multiple venues around the City and sampling their food and drink. From beer and cheese tours to sausage roll tours. Cheryl will share her expertise whilst conducting the tour.
ShoeBox Experience
Explore the hidden, underground streets of Norwich. Hidden below Castle Meadow, between the market and the Norman Keep, the past of our fine city, with its trades, houses and people can be discovered.
Bowhill and Elliott
Bowhill and Elliott Slippers sitting on the Maids Head Bentley
Situated on London Street, a short stroll from the Hotel, you can order a pair of handmade bespoke slippers. Bowhill have been in the shoe making business for nearly 150 years. They have made a pair of slippers for our Bentley chauffeur with the Maids Head logo embroidered on the front. Hotel guests can receive discounts when visiting the shop.
Maddermarket Theatre
The 100 year old Theatre is a short stroll from the hotel and run predominantly by volunteers. The hotel is keen to support their productions and works in partnership to promote these and to assist with fundraising initiatives.
NORFOLK EXPERIENCE PROVIDERS
Chet Valley
Wine Tasting tours of the vineyard and wine tasting events at the hotel can all be pre-booked. During Norwich Wine Week, 18th to 29th June 2025, the Hotel will collaborate with Chet on a Wine Tasting event held in the courtyard.
Broads Tours
Another good collaboration, forged from both of us being members of Visit the Broads. This has resulted in the Hotel displaying their leaflets and encouraging guests to take a boat trip out to experience the Broads during their stay.
Hallgarten Wines
Wine Tasting dinners with wines expertly selected by Hallgarten’s, our wine supplier, can be booked. The dinners are hosted and wines presented by Chris Sheehy from Hallgartens.
