The design of our Classic double rooms, particularly in the traditional side, have stories behind them. For instance, our “Map” Rooms, depict the history of the Hotel having seen so many travellers passing through from a rich variety of countries over the centuries; and the “Duck” Rooms with the lighthearted humour of flying duck with the richly coloured bohemian velvet is reminiscent of the carpet traveller bags.
