GoGo Safari in aid of Break
GoGo Safari Trail 2025
GoGo Safari in aid of Break is certainly generating a great buzz in the City. The Safari trail of the Big 5 launched in June and is available to explore until the end of August.
Across the City you will find 51 sculptures and over 60 Mini Gs. Sculptures include gorillas, rhinos, giraffes, lions, and elephants. All sculptures have been designed by talented artists and sponsored by local businesses. The adorable little giraffes have been brought to life by the creativity of local schools and community groups. You will even find two of these Mini G’s residing at the Maids Head!
When next in the City, do take the time to visit the Hotel. You can say “hello” to Pam in our main Reception area. Whilst you can greet Gerard in the WinePress Restaurant. Collect the family together and go on an adventure. Either download the GoGo Safari App, or purchase the sticker book from the Forum. Head off on a quest to tick off all the sculptures and vote for your favourites.
Family Review
We received a lovely email about the GoGo Safari trail in aid of Break from a lovely family who visited the Hotel recently …..
“Myself and my 2 10 year old sons visited your hotel today as part of the GoGo Safari Trail, I would like to express how kind your staff were. We found the first figure but I was unsure about wandering the hotel to find the second. However was guided by a lovely welcoming and kind staff member who told us to find the restaurant. As we walked through my children expressed an awe of your hotel and kept saying how posh it was. As we reached the restaurant I was again unsure about just walking about due to the grandeur of the place, however was once again reassured by another member of your fabulous staff. I mentioned that I felt out of place was reassured that the hotel was for everyone.
My children, again in awe of your restaurant, prompted conservations around staying at your hotel and what it was like to eat and stay here… Thank you for providing us with such a lovely experience and allowing my children to be seen as positive and not a hindrance in such a place. I just wanted to express my thanks and pass on my positive experience” Holly July 2025.

Say “hello” to Gerard, one of the Mini G’s in the WinePress Restaurant.
Who are Break?
The Safari is in aid of the wonderful local charity Break. Break offer a wide range of services including fostering, providing stable and loving homes both for those unable to live with their families and those with complex needs, therapeutic support and mentoring programs. They really do make a difference, which is why your support for this trail is so important.
If you would like to grab yourself a unique keepsake, there will be a live auction of all the sculptures on October 2nd.
