Celebrate Valentines with us between Saturday 10th and Saturday 17th February. Indulge in a fine dining experience with nods and notes to Valentines, including a very special oyster amuse bouche, scallops St Julian, 65% dark chocolate fondant and heart shaped petit fours.

The Earliest Surviving Valentine’s Letter
In February 1477, Margery Brewes wrote a Valentine’s Letter addressed to “My right well-beloved Valentine John Paston …..”. The Paston family lived in a house on Elm Hill, in Norwich. A marriage settlement was, at the time, being negotiated between the two families. They were married two months later. In the letter Margery writes….My heart me bids evermore to love you truly over all earthly things…..”
